Castagnari Accordions were introduced into Ireland by Sharon Shannon in the early 90’s. All About Accordions have been importing Castagnari Accordions into Ireland since 2000.

Paolo Soprani
These accordion are top of the range. They are the ULTIMATE
in Quality sound, I have to add that they have a magic sound that cannot be created in a 2 or 3 reed instrument.
Beltuna Accordions
They compare very well with the Castagnari models and you can hear the quality reeds in these Swing tuned accordions. I always stock the Melodeon in D. The Castagnari is still the More Popular Melodeon in Ireland. The Beltuna has been popularised by Bobby Gardiner but I personally would not be recommending the Beltuna. I have had to return a Batch of their accordions because the Lift on the pallets was too low and they were not creating enough Sound.
Garvey Accordions
Sean sourced a maker to improve the quality and ended up producing what became the Garvey AAA. This accordion has always had the features of the professional accordions all of which were lacking in the Hohner and Parott or anything else available.. The present day Garvey accordions are known for their quality Tam reeds which are only ever found in the professional accordions.
Garvey AAA Beginner Accordions
This is the Best Beginner Button Accordion available around the World as nobody else uses the same quality Reeds as we do in our Accordion. With the distributors around the world its all about profit over quality especially at the beginner level because it is mostly parents who are buying for Children.
We pay the extra for good quality Reeds but this in turn means we never have to deal with out of tune or damaged reeds. In over 10 years I cannot remember having to replace a broken reed on these accordions but I have replaced plenty for the competition.
