“The Castagnri Sharon”
This is the new Sharon accordion.
Sharon Shannon has been playing the stepped fingerboard version for over 25 years and Sharon approached the company about a flat version of the Tommy, they didnt have to do a lot, its the same frame size, same sound as she always had and today the very same accordion is now available to buy off the shelf.
Castagnari has always respected Sharon Shannon for her style of playing on their accordions and finally they asked could they call the accordion “The Sharon” in her Honour.
Sharon has been approached by a few different companies over the Years to play their accordion and she obliges for the TV appearances but will only play one tune on the sponsored accordion and then she will always revert to the Castagnari Sharon as she is most comfortable with her Castagnari.
The Sound is the very same as the Tommy and unbelievably light with a big melodeon sound on the 3 reeds.
I am guaranteeing these accordions for 3 years so why not treat yourself to a visit to our showroom and experience the quality, craftsmanship and outstanding sound of this instrument for yourself.

“Castagnari Dinn II”
This accordion is the most compact accordion available with 2 sets of reeds.
Its a 2 voice /reed accordion and it has 11mm buttons compared to the 14mm of the standard accordion. The action is very fast and the box comes with Professional reeds. For some reason this accordion has a very brighter sound than the Dinn 3 possibly because of the smaller frame size which is similar to the Sharon, Fast action & free bellows from day as with all the castagnari accordions.

For 25 years we called these accordions the Sharon accordion as Sharon played a step fingerboard all those years called a Tommy. Sharon was the only player I have ever met that was happy playing the stepped fingerboard.
The fast action and closer buttons allows the player to fly around the fingerboard at ease.
Features include, smaller buttons, Professional reeds, and very fast action and mostly comes with dry or swing tuning but I have often supplied these with Tremolo if requested

“Castagnari Melodeon 4 Stopper”
As played by Many Professional player’s around the country.
This Melodeon has high quality A Mano Reeds. The combination is 1 x picollo, 2 middle octive and 1 lower octive reed. This is similar to the cajun accordion and a very powerful sound. I usually stock the key of D but can be ordered in any key. The B+C player mostly goes for the D as they dont have a straight row of D, where as the C#D player will go for the C option.

This is the student model of the Ciacy and has only been on the market for two years. The Studio plays like a Castagnari, great action and very responsive reeds. It has proven very popular with teachers and the ideal upgrade for students as its only a 21 button similar to the beginner accordion and it bring the student into the professional league without costing the Earth.
These accordions like all my Castagnari accordion come with the D+G and G+D outer bass combinations as standard as my AAA starter accordion.
